“When I went back to see Glenn, I was on a quest to GET IT BACK: lose the weight and get stronger for all the activities I do, like skiing, softball, and cycling. During the first month and a half, I lost 11 lbs. of fat, but more than that, my pants got looser and my belt got smaller! Along with the weight loss, I also watched my body change and have developed new muscles and increased my strength, which has also become more balanced throughout my body. “Bottom line, I am loving the system and living it day-to-day. As a teacher, part-time student, husband, and father, my schedule is very busy. I wanted to lose the spare tire and bust out of the grind that was making it bigger. Thank God for Glenn because the GET IT BACK System works! Here’s me after doing it for 5 weeks, and here’s why I have been successful at losing that tire: 1) The important emphasis on proper diet and nutrition is outstanding. It’s really simple to follow the eating guidelines that Glenn outlines in the book, plus the recipes for the bars and smoothies are awesome; 2) The workouts are totally appropriate with your goals. “I’m eating more than ever before…just lighter at night along with drinking more water than ever before…at least 8 glasses a day. I noticed that I’m not experiencing the 2PM crash anymore where I feel like I need to take a nap. Amazingly…when I started recording this (9/16) I was 201 lbs. on day four of the 5 day prep and at the end of four weeks I was stable at 187 lbs and now a personal low of 178. Having said that, I really don’t care about what the scale says. I look in the mirror and I like what I see. It sure feels good to fit in to my clothing with a little room to spare (I have already gone down several belt sizes). I can complete 35 minutes of cardio without rest…interesting how when I look at the calorie burn on the machine. It used to say 350-400 for 35 minutes at my optimal calorie burn rate…now it’s 500 in 35 minutes. Also, I made the energy bars recipe from the book…they are awesome! Within just a couple weeks of being on the routine of eating better and exercise my blood pressure has dropped 120/80 without needing to be on medication anymore. The best part is that these days my friends and family say I am a completely different person and for the better. Because of my new choices they have been inspired to use the system to make positive changes themselves. I’ve been in the gym everyday…so workouts are going great and so is my food. I think I’ve learned something very valuable when we were together. I’m in a very good place with my mind, body and spirit.”

"I was feeling very discouraged after an exhausting ski season when I was not performing to my former skill or energy levels. Working with Glenn exceeded my expectations of fitness not only for skiing, but also for other activities and general well-being. Glenn's supportive system provided attainable goals for exercise and nutrition, and my success in attaining these goals has given me the confidence to tackle others. It's not just the workout. My daughter loved working with Glenn, too.
My mom was working with Glenn and getting incredible results. So several summers ago, when I decided to compete in my first triathlon, I signed up with him. Glenn was supportive and pushed me further than I could have gone on my own. I was so well-prepared for the race after my time with Glenn that I thought some of the sessions with him had been harder than the triathlon! "I am so impressed with my results! I started out at 230 lbs and 29% body fat and have dropped down to 181 lbs with 17% body fat. But more important than the fat loss and 4 belt sizes (I'm down to my high school waist of 32), my blood pressure has dropped from stage two hypertension to normal! I've noticed huge changes in my strength and endurance. Workouts are now something I actually crave. Mountain biking is pure fun, and the climbs that used to push me to my limits are now easy cruisers! The nutritional changes are also fantastic. Not once did I feel hungry during the system, and I really enjoy my new way of cooking for myself. Replacing all the junk with healthy options was much easier than I thought it might be. My affirmation from the jump-start sums it up well: 'The healthy habits I'm developing will stick with me for life!' This is working better than I could have hoped for, including already reaching all of my summer goals! I've referred several friends, and now my mom has just finished and she looks and feels amazing. I take the GET IT BACK System everywhere I go.
A few months before turning 58, I looked at photos when I was in my 30's thinking it would be wonderful to have my body in that kind of shape again.
